Prostate: This is a compound tubulalveolar gland of the male genitalia located in the pelvic cavity under the bladder. This organ is part of the body's sperm producing system, with the function of producing a fluid which at the end of ejaculation is added to the seminal liquid to increase the mobility and defence mechanisms of the spermatozoa.
